May Week 3 → (Coaching)
Update mail to Sander 19.05.2026
Sander offered an additional coaching slot this week: I decided not to attend. Because we had already confirmed last week that my project is overall on the right track, and I wanted to stay in production, still have so much to do!
However, instead, I wrote Sander an update on the six fronts I had in motion that week:
I found a matte black clothes rack and silver metal hangers, similar to what I proposed in April. Once they arrive I'll put everything together and test the visual. I also spoke with Hugo about the exhibition layout — he's busy with planning but said he'll keep enough space for me and the display table.
Counted today: 60 sheets so far. That includes the assemblies already shown, variations from shifting the screen position, and colour variations. I plan to slow down a bit on production — I need to figure out whether it's feasible to display this many posters at once.
Most of the stock so far is in black. I'll add some fluorescent green sheets next. These will go on the display table, and I'm also thinking about selling a few at Copyleft Bookshop to recover some of the material costs. Currently I store them with brown baking paper between each sheet (suggested by Gerard), but I'm not sure the brown fits the overall tone of the project. I asked Sander whether to switch to white baking paper instead.

Still updating weekly. I'll find time to test the filter Sander suggested and the categorised colour dots from last week.

Masters Online Expo
Bio, project description, and postcard all uploaded. The only thing left is the work documentation — I'll photograph the prints this week. Sander had pointed out that since I've used so many analogue materials, fluorescent inks, and metallic papers, photography is probably the better way to present them than scans.
